Has anyone been able to get the XV600 working with the Kyocera KR1 mobile router using USB? Just received the the KR1 and I'm not able to connect via USB, from what I can see from other posts it does work with the Samsung i730 which uses DUN, I have the XV6700 setup the same way and can connect from my labtop via USB. Seems to be a great device when I'm on vacation where Broadband is not available and I need to connect multiple PC's, now if it just worked with the XV6700.

The 6700 (XV6700 or PPC6700) isn't supported in the Kyocera KR1 Firmware (RK1006) yet. When it is supported, it will be added to this thread:

Any idea when the new firmware will be available? Hopefully soon before Rev A goes commercial and the router is outdated.

Just upgraded to the latest KR1 firware RK1007 and it looks like Kyocera is making some progress on adding additonal USB phones to their list, the router now see's my VZW XV6700 and I get a link between the router and PDA but still can't make a call, anyone tried the newer firmware with a Sprint or Verizon XV6700 and gotten it working, be careful on the upgrade as I bricked the router which tooks hours to recover (no Thanks to Kyocera's Tech support) due to a problem with Kyocera's recovery procedure and conlficts with different OS's, Browsers, etc, see the many issue's in the KR1 forum,
