I have KPC650 and Treo 700W and both always switching between EVDO and 1XRTT signals many times a day.

Nearest EVDO tower is about 6-8 miles away and nearest IXRTT tower is about 3-5 miles away. Verizon Wireless is too slow to roll out to rural area, my rural area was the last one to have 1XRTT signal 2 (?) years ago after Greater Kansas City had 1RXTT signals 4 (?) years ago.

I plan to buy KR1 router to allow two or more PC to access internet.

I know I will have to use dual-band amplifier because some of my guests/visitors have complained that their T-Mobile (1900 band) phones could not get signals often inside my house or outbuildings on my farm property while Verizon Wireless uses both 800 and 1900 bands and probably there are no 1900 bands in my area because my area are lightly populated, about 25K pop in whole county therefore I assumed that Verizon Wireless did not add new 1900 band towers yet but did upgraded their existing 800 band towers in the past few years.

Would Dual-band Repeater ampilfier help Treo 700W and KPC650 (as well as my guests/vistors' cell phones too) to receive EVDO signals at my 18-acre farm property without affecting Wireless Service systems?
