Does anyone know if Alltel has plans to offer an Expresscard for ED-VO rather than a PCMIA?

Alltel customer service told me that they were hoping to have them around Christmas. No official word yet though. I just bought a new Dell and was unware that it was expresscard only. What a pain in the @ss.

you could probably just get an unlocked/unbranded one of these and load the alltel prl onto it

Nope - Carriers will not activate foreign ESN's anymore

I know they will on phones but the carriers usually do not do it on EVDO devices.
