Hi,
Just wanted to quickly report that using a combination of Wilson 3 A amplifier and a trucker antenna from booster-antenna, I've managed to receive very good quality EVDO (-61 to -64 dBm) signal from a tower that is normally completely out of my reach. Prior to amplification, I have sporadically received the signal at the very edge of detection and for no more than a few minutes.
The booster-antenna guy was very nice on the phone and helped us correct the inappropriate shipping choice that would have otherwise cost us a three day delay.
Before this, Manchester MI (48158) was an absolute internet black hole for us, as the only available service here is the satellite - which is OK but not fast and has very high latency.
Cheers,
=Z= |
