| I am currently looking for the Moto Q I have service through Alltel, They are stating that the Q wont come out till December or January, problem is my Palm treo 650 just died, is there anyway for me to purchase the Q off ebay from a Verizon customer and get it transferred to my alltel account, I want to be able to use all features data etc..? |

Get the ESN# of the number of the unit you are looking to buy and call alltel and ask them if they will activate on thier network . Carriers are getting fussy lately about activating ESN's not originally assigned to them |

| from what I heard i could get this part of it done, but none of the data software would work on Alltel network, how would I go about changing the settings to read alltel network for data? |

can't you get an insurance or warranty on the 650 for now?
