PRL version: 20224

This version provides the following functionality since version 03.02.013.
    * Updated PRL to provide more data coverage on and off Sprint network
    * MSID on Device Info and Diagnostics screen to improve troubleshooting
    * Fixes minor bugs in the software related to error messages and incomplete updates
    * RX Diversity is enabled

hey all! new guy to the forums and also to the Sprint EVDO community. I just purchased a pantech card today and am getting up and running. I updated my software but when I went to update my firmware it said it couldnt open port. now if I go and try to do it again it says my software is up to date. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

This manager will change the firmware of your card, If you don't have REV A network on your city don't updrade, or you will be only connecting to 1xRTT and no EVDO speeds. I had to switch back to the old firmware and connection manager from the CD ,to get back the EVDO speeds from REV 0.

well I got the firmware to update, but I havent got good speeds since my initial install 300 up 75 down, but I do get an EVDO connection. Guess I need an antenna/booster.

Wow, that's nuts? The upgrade takes away the Rev0 backward compatibility?

That would mean if you plan to travel, you would have to wait for the entire US to be turned up on RevA before you did the upgrade?

This was a problem the first week that Sprint released the firmware, but it was quickly fixed (Merlin S720 & PX-500 affected), see:
