Little conversation with Sprint Guys (one didn't have a clue and the other said in the meeting this am they said 11/15).

So, we might see it in 2 weeks. Anyway, any rumor is comforting isn't it.

I stopped into one of my local Sprint stores today to check on getting a USB modem & see what service plan might suite my needs. The salesmen I talked to said that they are not carrying or offering the USB modems any more. According to him, they had nothing but problems with them, and stopped carrying them. Anyone else hear this, or is this guy just plain wrong. I was really hoping one of these might find it's way under my XMas tree this year.

They appeared in the inventory today and I swapped a cc5740 for a u720 for someone earlier today so they should be available through Sprint directly now, at least over the phone. Wasn't on the website yet though and I'd heard from a few customer's that weren't in the stores yet either.
