I know this is a known issue (per several sources online), does anyone know of a solution to the disconnection issue (5seconds of inactivity cause the connection to drop).

Any help would be appreciated. (I do know of the ping fix but this obviously won't work properly when using with a pda/mobile device tethering through it).

Open a dos prompt window (goto start/run and type cmd and hit enter) and do a continuous ping to any website for example to ping google type ping www.google.com -t
