Hello,

Has anyone managed to get the AC580 working in device running Windows XP Embedded? I'm trying to get the the AC580 working in an FIC Aquapad. The unit works fine using Linux but has an issue when installing the modem driver in WinXPE- "The required section was not found in the INF".

The Watcher installs OK (reports Signal strength and EVDO coverage) but the networking connection doesn't get installed because of the modem driver failure.

Any ideas?

Thank you for any responses.

I have some contacts on Sierra Wireless and I have forwarded your email. I will post the reply once I get it.

Thanks Michael. I have have some contacts at SW too and its something being looked into. I'm hoping that someone on the forum with some WinXPE knowledge might be able to speed things up.

Cheers.

I think we may have the same contacts at Sierra Wireless, as they have the same request coming in from someone else (probably you).

I will post the results here, when I hear back from them.
