KPC650 on both a Toshiba Satellite L25 and a HP W532

I have had my Kyocera card since April 19th, 2006 and have never had any problems out of it until early in the morning of the 26th. Had some odd connection issues, so I disconnected, and when I tried to reconnect, the card dials, connects, but is unable to authenticate. Im on Alltel, with a good account, and it happens on both my laptop AND my desktop. It gets to the authentication point, and I see that its sending data, but doesnt recieve any. Have been in touch with Alltel's tech support and they are baffled ... as for me, Im pulling my hair out, cause Im forced to go back to my earthlink dial-up because of this. Im in the Florida Panhandle region (1xRTT currently, with plans to be upgraded to EVDO within 2 months). If anyone can think of any reason for the cause of this or even possible solutions, please help!
