Hi,
I've had a PC 5220 (Verizon) for over a year now, I do a bit of traveling & generally it works well. Prior to my latest laptop, my 5200 was used in a Dell Lattitude laptop. After connecting to the network (VZAccess) I was able to surf and, after connecting to my office via VPN, I was able to connect to my Exchange server via Outlook 2002 (I believe) and download email to my Outlook client.
Well I have a new laptop, Outlook 2003, a later version of XP and I can no longer connect to the Exchange server. I can VPN into the office server (to pick up files, etc.), but when I try to launch Outlook, it never connects to Exchange & keeps trying. The laptop is a Dell Inspiron 8600 (I don't have the USB issue) & works well w/ the 5220 for everything else, except for the Exchange connection.
Anyone have a clue what is going on here? Our network admin. tried several things but to no avail.
Thanks,
Bob |

Hey Michael - THANKS SO MUCH!!! This was big deal for me, for the past month I've been forced to use OWA (the web version of Outlook) & it was a PITA wading through all the Spam (I use a Spam client on my Outlook that catches 99% of that stuff). So my life is that much simpler - disabling Venturi did the trick.
What does Venturi actually do? When it's disabled I don't see any difference, however I haven't done a lot yet.
Thanks again.
