|
|
Hello,
I am looking for a few people who have the ability to tape a phone conversation in high quality and then covert it to a MP3.
Next week, I will be doing some tests with Vonage's VOIP and EVDO. I will be taking my regular phone (not cell phone, but a landline phone) and using it in my car using VOIP over EVDO.
I want to test with 2-3 people, who will record the call, and when completed, send me the MP3. I will post the results, along with the MP3 over on EVDO-Info.com.
This test will be conducted during the day, sometime over the next week or two. If interested, and can help, please fill in the form at the URL below:

Any takers here? I did a 20 minute VOIP call over EVDO today (it was not recorded) and it was PERFECT on both ends. I need someone who is available on Monday for 5 minutes or so, that can make a high quality recording of both sides of the phone conversation and then email me the WAV file when completed. One call will be for 30 seconds, and the other call will be for 30 seconds while downloading a 20mb file.
Once, I have these done, I will publish the VOIP over EVDO tip.
Anyone? _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

my company supplies VOIP setups to us workers. I have used various Verizon products 1xrtt and evdo since available here in atlanta. i stay connected all the time by putting a laptop in my car and connecting when on the road. I have stayed connected from atlanta to savannah and most of the way from atlanta to orlando (there is a no-mans-land south of macon to below the border) so connectivity is pretty good. I run a constant ping to one of our servers while in the car. I rarely get better than 350 ping times an often above 500. I had assumed that with this type of latency, VOIP would either not work or be at best sort of a novelty (not fit for biz class).
I will be interested to see how this works out. |
