I really want to make this work.

Just got the Samsung SPH-a920 and am using Sprint Powervision. It only costs $10/month on top of my existing service. I plugged the USB cable into the mac (OSX 10.4.7), it saw the new port, but I could not get a connection.

I don't know what to use to configure the connection. There's a "Sprint PCS" option, but it wants to be a dial-up.

I read that PC users have a program that will install necessary drivers.

The Sprint website only has instructions on how to get a card to work.

Technical support had no idea how to help me, and couldn't figure out how it worked.

The instruction manual is full of fluff, and no specs.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Open System Preferences and click on the Network icon. Does anything show up that saying Sprint or Merlin or something similar.

No options, although when I go into my home location, I get an option to show Samsung CDMA Technologies.

But noone can tell me what or if PPP, TCP/IP, Proxies should be set at, and I can not find any adquate modem description. There's a Sprint PCS Vision, but it doesn't make anything work.

I've connected them via bluetooth, and it tries really hard to connect, but ultimately it fails.

I'm sorry, when I hit "summary" in network set-up, I do get the Samsung CDMA, but still nothing that says sprint or qwest.
