Our forums have grown tremendously since January 2005 and we thank all of you for being a part of this growing community. In order to keep these forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact us. General Rules: Each member is only allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed. If you are found to have multiple identities, you will be permanently banned. Advertising and spamming is not allowed. This includes using EVDOforum.com's Private Message ('PM') system to spam or solicit other members in any way. Please see our Advertising section below for more. To prevent spamming, new users are not able to include links in their posts. While debating and discussion is fine, we will not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or purposely inflammatory posts. Our decision is final in these matters. We also do not allow posts that are sexual in nature or violate EVDOforums community standards. The EVDOforums team shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards. Discussion of illegal activities such as software and music piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed. This is not a political forum - please do not post your political view (there are other forums for that). Some posts are better for email vs. a public forum. For example, "Hey Fred, how are you?", or posts directed to competitors or products completely unrelated to EVDO. Please use email - as these posts will be removed. Please refrain from posting meaningless threads, one word (or short) non-sense posts, or the such. If you are an Internet Troll - please do not post here. You will be banned and your posts deleted. Do not "bump" your post (posting with the intent to move to the top of the list without adding any new content). Your "bump" will be deleted. To cut down on spam, first time posters are not allowed to include links in their first few posts. If you are a new user and want to include a link in your post, do it without the http:// part. our forum members will know what to do with it. Multiple or repeated posting in order to increase your post count is not allowed. If you post the same or similar messages in multiple forums we will delete your duplicate posts. Better to post once in the right place. Site Admins may edit your title to have it better reflect the content or subject matter. If you post in the wrong forum, a Site Admin may move your post to one that is more appropriate. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice. We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules. While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently, we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way. If you have a complaint about Verizon, post to our Verizon Complaint Thread . If you create a new complaint thread, it will be deleted. If you are a competitor to the items sold at 3Gstore.com, please do not link to your web site or post a link to a competing product. If you are looking to purchase direct from the manufacturer, please do not post for help/advice OR how to cheat to use programs you do not qualify for, we are not allowed to participate in those programs, so your post will be deleted. If you have a complaint about Sprint, post to our Sprint Complaint Thread. If you create a new complaint thread, it will be deleted. Advertising We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to other EVDOforum.com users advertising or soliciting any products or services. Explicit advertising in signatures is also prohibited. You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Threads/posts of these types will be deleted. If you represent or are somehow related to a company that sells a product or service, please be sure to let others know your affiliation to that product or service if and when you discuss or recommend the product. We do not allow "for sale"; "wanted to buy/trade"; "take over my contract" or similar bartering posts. Try eBay instead. Any posts in this category will be deleted. Links in forum posts and/or signatures must follow these guidelines: Linking to a commercial product/service/informational website is fine, provided it is not a product or service that competes with a product or service offered by 3gstore.com or our affiliates. Promotional text for a commercial product or service is OK, provided there are no prices for products or services listed. Duplicate links to the same URL in a signature are not allowed. Copyright Infringement We do not condone copyright infringement. Links to copyrighted works, be they software, multimedia, or written works, will be removed.
