|
|
Greetings all. I was playing with the AT+CSS and AT+CSQ commands earlier today with the Sprint Novatel S620 card, and results where behaving as expected (i.e., +CSQ returned two numbers, and the first number was always between 0 and 31 or 99).
I later installed the Sprint Connection Manager software on my machine, and it required me to do a firmware upgrade of the S620 card. The firmware now appears to be the following (from ATI command):
| Code: | | Revision: M6500C-BBIRD_SPRINT_PCCARD-40306.155 [Jan 19 2006 14:00:00] |
(Sorry, I do not remember what it was before the upgrade--I seem to remember it was something from 2005.)
Anyway, now when I issue the AT+CSQ command, the first number returned now seems to be a non-sense value (I'll see 113 or 112, etc.) No longer is it returning a number between 0 and 31. Any ideas? Example:
In that case, I got 110--seems like a bogus result from everything else I've read from the forums.
The format of the +CSS command changed as well (?,letters, numbers) where before it was just (?,numbers) -- but that's no problem, the SID returned still makes sense.
Regards,
B.J. Guillot |
