After two months of this project (converting 23 phone users in my organization to Blackberries) consuming my life, I've pretty much got these things working well...except for one thing.

The tethering on these things is REALLY flakey. All of us have the Sprint Connection Manager downloaded to our laptops. It'll work, but intermittently. It'll connect once, then I can shut down the laptop, bring it back up and try to connect again -- and the software refuses to connect! The "GO" button never comes alive again, and the SCM screen keeps saying "Please connect your phone," even though it is definitely connected. Rebooting the computer doesn't help...the only thing we've found to fix the problem is dumping the Blackberry; yanking the battery and powering it back up.

Anyone else having this problem and do you know if a fix is in the pipeline?

Are these brand new 7250s? If you had old 7250s and upgraded to support "Tethered Modem" then it will not work. There is a problem on Sprints network. Try setting up just dialup networking and avoid using Sprints Manager. Here is a link for instructions:
