Greetings...

I am wishing to simply bridge the pppd interface from 5220 card to one of the ethernet ports, at which time I can utilize my own firewall behind the stompbox.

Has anyone done anything like this and experienced problems? It must be a very trivial task, e.g. a few command lines; however, I would be very open to suggestions on how to accomplish this. Any references someone could point me towards?

Thank you much in advance,
Peter

Windows? Max? linux? If you are on Windows, it is actualy rather simple. You need to do Internet Connection sharing. If you are running windows, you can llok at www.evdoinfo.com for a quick how-to, or simply search here.

(Hey Horses) The StompBox is linux based.

You can find a lot of technical discussion on the StompBox at:

I'll check out that forum. The bridging will occur on an embedded system running either BSD or Linux. I think I figured it out anyway...thanks for all the help.
