NDIS on Sony but Not Powerbook

I am weekending in Okeechobee, FL, again. After reading these forums I decided to try NDIS since there is no EVDO signal here. Perhaps 30 miles or so away over in Clewiston.

I set up the NDIS on my Sony S560P and got connected with the cell phone signal at about 1/4th to 1/10th my typical EVDO speed. AND when I put the Sony into sleep/hibernate mode, when I awakened it the card reconnected. Cool. Doesn't work that way on my Powerbook. I have to reselect Connect from the Internet Connect menu. Probably the price of Hacking Verizon's Drivers, or should that be hijacking?

I am quite pleased with the card working on both computers, just pop it into the PC Card slot and click and go.

I bought the card through these kind folks and they emailed me the drivers for install on a Mac created by a third party.

Now if Apple will just ship a cooler MacBook and Sprint will ship the Rev A card with Mac drivers...
