I have 65 users using this card and they are all in Dell D610. I ahve had no problems until about 3 weeks. In about a dozen of the machines the card would all of the sudden lock up and the indicator light would turn orange. I spent these last weeks on the phone with Sprint and Novatel and they came to the conclusion that the cards went bad. They sent me replacements and they worked fine for less than a day and the same 12 are back to locking up displaying the orange light. Nothing has changed in the configuration of the laptops and the softare is version 3.02

Anyone have this kind of problem?

Really stupid question, did you re-load all of the drivers and software before installing the new cards? I know that is assanine, but that does clear it up sometimes.

Yep. I removed all old drivers and software and used the cd that came with the new cards. Yesterday, I also loaded 3.04 as someone suggested and still getting the same results.

Off the wall: anti-virus and such software is downloaded constantly. Any conflicts there?

While the S620 is generally considered a better card, it can be less compatible on some laptop models. Would be interesting to try a different model card, and if it would have the same problem. Also, are all of the Dell drivers up to date? Very strange that 4 out of 5 have no issues.
