Every so often usually after some amount of hours on Internet inactivity, the Status Light is orange. I loose my DHCP address, if I put it in staticly I still can not connect to the KR1 via http://192.168.0.1.
I have to power the unit down, when it first comes up the light is still Orange but then changes to green, and everything it fine.

Firmware Version: RK1002 , Fri 03 Mar 2006

Thanks.

The orange LED is a combination of the red and green LEDs and is displayed while the unit is attempting to boot. If you're having connection problems or some other issue that may cause this.

I have the same scenario with my new KR1. Fortunately, only happens after a few hours and not every few minutes lets say.

Same thing with me...It happens about every hour...any idea why? Mine goes from orange to green without me unplugging it

I am not understanding this "Firmware" discussion...how do i know and is there a firmware fix to eliminate this "cycling" problem?

Tools>Firmware... or http://192.168.0.1/tools_firmw.html (if you're using the default IP subnet).
