Glenn Renoylds of Instapundit was recently in NY and tested at about 480 I think. I read a review of evdo somewhere that took place in NY and he said the connection was fast and stable wherever he was.

I'm going to DC next week and will test it out there.

I live in Bayside (Union and Bell), I never had evdo connection here. You will find coverage, practically all over Manhattan and Long Island City.
