Hi all,

We've been using a PC5220 card and the debug option on the MCM software to force the card to only use EVDO and not 1xRTT as per http://www.evdoinfo.com/Tips/PC_5220/Sniffing_Out_New_EVDO_Towers_with_a_PC5220_20050531297/

This has been working out great for us as we are in a fringe area, and had been previously switching randomly from EVDO to 1xRTT.

My question is this... Knowing that we can force EVDO via the MCM debug menu, will we lose this option with the KR1, or is there some similar setting on one of the various KR1 router control pages?

We really want a KR1, but don't want to take a performance hit by giving up MCM.

Thanks for any info!

/Brian
