Apple Verizon Drivers don't work in 10.4 / Tiger

*** WARNING ***

Do not install the Apple Verizon Drivers, if you are running Mac OS X 10.4 / Tiger. If you do install them, your PowerBook will no longer be able to recognize your PC 5220 card (or possible others too).

The good news, is that Tiger (out of the box) has the correct working drivers for PC 5220 card support. These drivers can also be modified to work with the Novatel v620, Sierra AirCard 580 and Kyocera KPC650.

If you do install these older drivers on top of Tiger 10.4, your PC Card will no longer work and you will need to re-install 10.4. Symptoms include, no flashing red or green lights on the PC card, when you insert it into your PC Slot.

My v620 worked under 10.3.9 and now with tiger it won't work no matter how many times I run the installer. Also I did not put the apple drivers back I used the original that came with tiger.

Please help I am going away and have to rely on this card.

The manual process does work.

The manual process shows all the right stuf but still nothing. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
