I'm working on a project where I'm installing my Mac Mini in my truck. I'd like to hook it up to EVDO, but the Mini does not have a card slot. Furthermore, I'd like to buy one of the antenna offered by the sister site, but I just can't seem to find a usb2 pcmcia reader that will work with Mac OSX. Does anyone know if such a critter exists?

I tried two different PCMCIA Adapters in a Mac G5 Dual 2.5 GHZ and neither of them worked in the G5. It seemed to be a power related issue. I did not see the flashing red or green lights on the PC Card. Also, when one of the PCI PCMCIA adapters was installed *and* the PC 5220 card was installed, the G5 would not startup. Removing the card, and the G5 started up.
I would imagine you would have the same problems on a Mac Mini.
