|

Has anyone actually received the KR1 rebate from a previously purchased KPC-650? I purchased my KPC-650 in November 2005. I just checked the web-rebate link and got a message that says:
Purchase was made outside of the qualifying period
And that a non-compliance letter will be mailed. I was told that the purchase date of the 650 was not limited to the 1/26 to 4/1 time frame.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Lee

Yes, I received my rebate this past Saturday -- I purchased the KPC650 in September. It is clear to me that web-rebates.com (the third-party company that handles the rebates for Kyocera) is clueless. I had to contact Kyocera directly in order to even find my rebate. After five weeks, there was no record of my submission -- the web-rebates.com people told me to wait (and wait and wait...).
PM me if you want the name and phone number of the person from Kyocera who assisted me. |

| Hi everyone...I am just doing my research on different types of wireless broadband routers. I have read some of the posted messages and it seems like the Kyocera KR1 is now available. Can anyone tell me where to buy one? Also, how is the Kyocera PC card and the router performing? I am comparing it with the Junxion. Any info is much appreciated. |

I have been using a KR1 with a Sprint S620 for about 2 months and I am very pleased with it.
There are 2 primary sources for the KR1:
- http://www.booster-antenna.com (the company associated with this forum)
If you need a ruggedized EVDO router, check out www.digi.com and look for the Connect Port Wan product. So far this is only certified for Sprint. |

Lee,
Can you email (or private message) me your contact info (do not post here) and I will forward to Kyocera.
I sent this thread to Kyocera and they confirmed the rebate department messed up and they wanted to make sure yours was fixed.

Lee,
I received your info via private email and it has been forwarded to Kyocera. Please report back here, after you have been contacted (or it has been resolved). _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

My rebate was just rejected, and I've been on hold for 30 minutes.
They say it was purchased outside of the date window, but apparently they used the KPC650 date (last november) as the date of purchase for the KR1 and the postmark of 2/11/6.
The company says they can't do anything unless I find all the paperwork and resubmit it.
HELP! |

Hey TZ1,
Via email or Private Email, send me the name/address/city/state/zip that you used for the Rebate form and I will pass it on to the people in charge at Kyocera. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |
