Kyocera KR1 Router & Netgear Wireless Router

Excuse my lack of knowledge...........

I am in the process of purchasing a laptop and doing away with the desktop. DSL is not an option in my area and dial up has got to go. I am looking to purchase the Dell XPS 170 and the Kyocera KPC 650. Laptop will primarily be used at home however will also want to use while traveling. The Kyocera KR1 Router sounds like the way to go. Dell offers the Netgear Wireless Router with their system. Will I need both Netgear Wireless Router and the Kyocera KR1 Router or will the Kyocera KR1 Router be sufficient to do it all? Question

With what you are describing, you will only need the Kyocera KR1 Router, no need for a 2nd router.

Your EVDO card will plug in to the KR1, and then your laptop can hook up to the KR1 via WiFi or Ethernet, and then access the internet.
