Alright, so I live in CO, and it has been snowing a decent amount today, There was also some fog. So I get home, and I notice I was popped off the internet. Ok, I thought that was odd because my Sprint internet even though its 1xRTT never goes out. So the Speint connection manager says 'serching for service' and my card is flashing red (AC580). I also had the booster antenna connected, so I should've had a singal no matter what. For ten minutes I fiddled with restarting, removing the card, close the software, openenng it, etc. So, natured called, about 20 minutes later, I get back and its connected at full signal strength no problems. I havent had it drop out since then. I just thought it was very odd that it did that. I am not too terribly worried, but I am concerned. Maybe the tower I was connected to died for a few hours or so. I dont know. Anybody else have an odd experience?

Sounds like a tower issue . If still out in the morning contact your service provider

hmm yea, thats excatcly what i was thinking. I am on it now, but it may be out in the AM. If it is, then I will call. When I called last time, to something totally un-related, they said 'if a tower goes down, we will generally upgrade it to EVDO while we are there'. So I said to her 'good I will be out there with a baseball bat smashing things up in a few hours' we both laughed. So that is something interesting to note. Maybe I will go out and bash some things after the snow melts lol

hbaha yes, I wish it was enoyable though. It was fairly runny and made a freakin mess! At least my internet started working after that. That made me feel special.
