I know that the ppc-6700 is getting to be an older phone, but its attractiveness (no way for spcs to determine tethering) makes it the new cornerstone of my network. by using the integrated xp ip routing registry setting, I plan on using an old xp laptop as an internet gateway for my lan.

Anyway, to change the home agent HA for the sprint ppc-6700:
- enter ##778#
- click on edit
- enter your msl code and click ok
- navigate to M. IP Customer Profile 1
- change the pri and secondary HA's to whichever one you like
- click yes to save
- click OK to reboot the phone

Ok, I've been reading this and I'm confused...

I have a 597usb card hooked up to my computer, I'm using the latest Smartview through Sprint.... what do I need to do to change my HA (besides getting the MSL), where is the place I change the HA?

Its probably like other Sierra modems:
Move mouse over 'Go' button and leave pointer on top of it, type in caps ##DATA , make sure you are not connected when you do this.
