|
|
Finally I got the long awaited OS X 10.4 Tiger, but now it doesn't recognize neither the Sierra AirCard 580 nor Kyocera KPC 650. Before I upgraded my Powerbook to Tiger, I was running OS X 10.3.9 working perfect with my EVDO cards thanks to the Patchs posted in the EVDOinfo.com pages, but now, everything is lost!
Any idea of how to get it work? |

Most likely the Tiger install replaced the files you changed with ones that only support the PC 5220 card. Just, change the files again, or run the installer that is on EVDOinfo.com _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

Did you use the installer or make the changes manually?
I know someone using a Kyocera KPC650 with tiger without a problem.
I have a Sierra AirCard 580 that I can test. _________________ EVDO :: EVDO News :: EVDO Antennas :: Buy Verizon :: Buy Sprint :: EVDO Amplifier |

| I used the installer. Do you think I must use the manual process rather than the Patch? |

| Don't ask what I did, but after installing million times the patchs (for both of the cards) and reverting all due to failed attempts, suddently the Kyocera was detected by the powerbook and finally able to connect to the Internet. Can't figure it out neither what was happening nor what I did in order to be succesful! |

| The only thing missing or not working is the signal strength indicator. Any idea of how to make it work? |
