What would be the correct pcm-cia "card" to install in the pci slot on my "new" hp desktop. HP 1310y,xp home,p4,32 bit pci slot,512mb memory?
Have office where dial up is the only option. Alltel offers EVDO in my area, 1/2 mile down the road is an Alltel tower. No manufactures(Alltel,Kyocera,HP,Syba,Kutech,Digigear ) will say what hardware works with their products. Just "buy it" and "try it".. I have read reviews about pros and cons about these types of pci add on boards, however the author never defines which manufactor/win. system they are using. I understand these air cards are designed for laptop useage, but want they work the same in a desktop pci slot ??? All knoweldge is greatly welcome. |
