I couldn't find any mention of it, so I thought I would pose this to the group: Does anyone know if the Kyocera KR1 is compatible with the T-Mobile EDGE card, the Sony Ericcson GC89? We've got a number of these cards we deployed for our crews in the field, and I was interested to see if anyone has tried this combo.
Thanks for any opinions on this subject in advance! |

Does anyone know if any Cingular cards will be supported in the future? We have a site in the Mojave desert where my Sierra 860 works fine but my Sierra 580 does not. In fact my Sprint card does not have service within a 30 mile radius of the site. Verizon phones only work in analog so I have little hope of better results there. If Kyocera has plans to include EDGE cards, I would love to wait. Otherwise I guess I need to look into the Junxion box, even though it is way more expensive and does far less.
I have a KR1 that I use with my Sprint card in town and I am very pleased. |
