Everywhere I've gone the signal strength has been great, except for around a 10 foot radius from my bedroom -- I've only been able to get 200 kilobits there, perhaps all the electronics in there are producing R/F signals that cause interference??
I've tested it all around town, and have been extremely impressed. |

The electronics definately can effect your RF Perhaps for you bedroom you should consider putting an exterior antenna outside and connecting that to the card |

I'm actually using my phone (a PPC6700) as a modem so external antennas aren't an option. Its okay this isn't my primary net connection, I have a net connection in here as well.
Did a speed test while at Barnes & Nobles and was averaging around 1100Kbps. |

Yes it is an option the PPC6700 has an RF port to connect to an exterior antenna , Look on the back of the phone just below the antenna . There is a little rubber plug , Remove that . That is the RF out port |
