I have a K650, which originally worked well with myDell Inspiron 300m. But then it started dropping the signal, and balking at picking the signal back up again.

I got a replacement 650 from Verizon, but it immediately exhibited the dropping connection problem of the first card.

I'm running Windows XP.

Verizon has been useless about running down the problem.

Any suggestions about what to check, diagnostics, etc.

Thanks!

I had a smiliar issue running my KPC-650 with Verizon. I fixed the issue by disabling Windows power management for the USB root hub assigned to my PC card. Right-click on your "add/remove hardware" option in system tray and enable "display device components". Next, hight 2nd USB Root hub listed under "NEC PCI to USB Host controller" and select "Properties". Locate the Power Management tab and uncheck box then reboot PC
