I can't express how pleased I am with this. Our Powerbook G4's work perfectly with the Kyocera KPC650, using Verizon Wireless.

The setup was a breeze. You don't even need to use the VZaccess software once installed, just connect from the Menubar. Plus, it's FAST. I am amazed.

The *only* drawback is that the Mac version of VZAccess does not support text messaging, so to setup an SMTP account to be able to send email, you have to call Verizon and have them set it up manually. Other than that, I couldn't be happier.

Note: the version of VZaccess that came on CD with the Kyocera card is old - just get version 2.0 from Verizon's site.

Just FYI, the service we had before, T-Mobile with a Sony Ericsson GC89, was downright abyssmal. The "Mobile High Speed" software used to 'activate' the card every time you wanted to use it is a complete JOKE. Stay away from it. It's the worst software imaginable for this kind of service.
