Is there anyway to use the Venturi client or another way to speed up the connection when using the KR1 router and a hardwired connected PC? I am averaging about 200 to 250kbps. In the past we have experienced speeds in the 400 to 500kbps range (on a very good day).

We are using the KR1 with the Verizon 5470 card and a desktop PC.

There is a bug in the current firmware that only affects the PC5740 card, see this URL for more info:

Also, Venturi will not run unless, your Verizon Card is installed in YOUR PCMCIA slot. When connected over WiFi, Venturi will not run.
