HELP!!!
OK, I'm getting ready to place an order with Sprint for the PPC-6700 with unlimited data. Can someone here please verify that I can tether my laptop to the PPC-6700 using the activesync cable and the software below and use the PPC-6700 for internet access on my laptop?
Here is the software:

Also, does the activesync cable come with the PPC-6700 or do I have to purchase that separately?
Thanks in advance for the help,

You don't need the JuneFabrics software to do it. Technically you can still tether on the $15/month PowerVision account but officially you are supposed to get a phone-as-modem account.
See this thread....

I just thought of another question:
Is it possible to 'lock in' evdo or 1rxtt on the PPC-6700? In my area sometimes my Sierra Aircard had problems bouncing between the two until I locked in evdo.

^I don't think the 6700 has the option, or any EVDO phone. As Sprint upgrades more 1xRTT towers to EVDO, the chances of having the issue will be reduced.
BTW, be aware that on PAM, you can't talk on phone at same time as using data. |
