Tell me about it. I do a lot of perl scripting taking data generated on windows and doing something with it on unix. I have to screw around with LF/CRLF all the time. It's gotten so bad I'm putting curses in all my programs in the comments areas to whomever was the jackass that thought it was going to be a good idea.
