|
|
I get this error when trying to access the setup through the internet.
Safari can’t open the page “http://192.168.0.1/”. The error was: “lost network connection” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005) Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.
When this happens I do not lose my connection. It just does not get through to 192.168.0.1 The Lan 1 port light does not come on either.
Any Ideas out there? Thanks. |

| Open a terminal prompt, type ifconfig and hit enter. Paste the results in here. |

It shows en1 as detached/inactive, which is the problem.
You need to make sure the physical connection is sound - your cable may be lose, or try a different port.
You need to use the network preferences pane - first try DHCP, if that doesn't work, try forcing 192.168.0.50 or something.
Also do things like making sure the power is good. |
