Slow connection using KR1 Router

I just got my KR1 Router, When i had the card in my laptop, i was getting 2.3mb down and 800k up, I put in the KR1, and now im only getting 80K down and 22K up..

What happened to all the speed?

EVDO has a maximum throughput of 2.4mb down, 144K up. Nobody ever sees those speeds. The average is 400Kbps-700Kbps download, and many get over 1Mbps (the faster I ever got was 1.9mb down). On the average, upload is 50Kbps - 100Kbps, I sometimes will average 120Kbs. It is impossible to get 800K on the upload on EVDO.

Me thinks it's that Venturi client caching that is munging the results...
