Laptop was an DV4170us with Bios Ver .13
Windows XP Home
Sprint PC-5740
Connection Manager 3.1.026

Card installed and operated well. However, programs such as Internet Explorer, would take 3 minutes to open. Regular time to open was about 3 seconds. Problem would ONLY occur when card was actually connected to Sprint. No trouble when the card was merely inserted and Conncetion Manager was running.

After numerous tries at troubleshooting, problem greatly diminished to a usable delay with Bios update to .16
