I have a mbr95 with a Netgear 341U aircard and a Sprint 4Glte connection. I'm having a problem with remote connections to an ip camera that's connected by ethernet cable to the mbr95. Android phone connections are successful only about 10% of the time. However, when the phone is connected to my LAN wi-fi, the phone connection never fails. The camera Tech support thinks that maybe I have port forwarding issue, but I've found no problem with the forwarding setup in the mbr. ON LAN wi-ff connections, does the NAT loopback feature in the mbr95 even use the forwarded port ? The netgear's 4Glte signal ia always a soild -77 dbm signal while the phone's signal strength ranges from -120 to -105 dbm (1 to 3 bars on a 6 bar scale).
Might this be a signal issue ? I've read that some of the wireless providers don't use a publicly routable IP addr. But, I'd think that remote accesses would never work if that be the case. Any thoughts on this ?
