In order to determine what signal-boosting equipment is appropriate for you, please do what is called a "site survey".

If you're needing to improve the 3G or 4G signal on the Jetpack, follow the site survey instructions.

If you just want to extend the WiFi range of the Jetpack, check out the Pepwave Surf On the Go or any other WiFi as WAN capable device.

While WiFi as WAN connections are completely wireless, there are certain Jetpack models like the 4620L/LE and 5510L that are supported via USB tethering with Peplink/Pepwave routers. A tethered connection is more stable and unlike WiFi as WAN connections, won't cause any speed degradation.

if I have this right.....
I would do the settings in the pepwave and then connect the pep to the 4620 by using
a micro usb cable...???what size end would go in the pep????
then the pep would be my wifi to my computer with its antenna and maybe a reflector
or I could run a ethernet cable to my PC.. is this correct????

the pep is a bit expensive.....

You would do the settings in the Jetpack to enable tether mode first. From there you would just need a USB cable. The end that goes into the Jetpack is micro USB, the end that goes into the router is a standard USB A. Same that is on the ends of flash drives, your mouse and keyboard, etc.

The best router for the job to accomplish the goal of extending WiFi range is the Pepwave Surf SOHO. http://3Gstore.com/surfsoho

The range indoors is about 200', and with the optional WiFi antennas you can push that over 300'.
