I currently use a yagi/cradlepoint setup for my home internet on VZ 4g. Works fine.

I have spotty cell coverage inside for voice/data on iPhone 4.
Data is fine on my wifi, but I have unlimited on iPhone 4.

I have these:purchased from 3G store
Wilson amp
http://3gstore.com/product/156_wilson_3-watt_2g_3g_direct_connect_amplifier_811201.html

Wilson omni antenna
http://3gstore.com/product/2293_wilson-301101-omni-external-antenna.html
**dont think my antenna is 4g but its similar.

I want to add an indoor antenna.
3G has a flat panel and a ceiling mount version.

Ceiling

Flat
http://3gstore.com/product/3813_wilson_ceiling_mount_indoor_directional_panel_antenna.html

My questions.

1. Can I add one of these to my existing equipment?
2. Any thoughts on ceiling mount vs flat.
* leaning toward ceiling mount

3. Assuming yes.... Can I hook amp output to indoor antenna to increase footprint inside? (Signal outside is good with omni, I used it for data on older um175 setup with no amp)

Thank you

I would go with the flat mount however you have the wrong amplifier you need a Wireless Amplifier for Verizon 700 MHz 4G LTE http://3gstore.com/product/2951_cellphone-mate-surecall-cm700v-lte-amplifier.html

Thanks for the input on the flat panel.

For the amp, my phone is not 4G, it's 3G (iphone 4).
This is for voice/data of the phone, not the UML290.

I believe we are both right.
Both amps are 800Mhz compatible.
I have used this amp for 3G service with the antenna. I know it works.
We have 800Mhz service on 3G here. I've done a site survey.

I have not used it to feed to an internal repeater type antenna.
I assume it would work fine.
I would like to use the "output" side of the amp on the internal repeater antenna to make sure I get a good signal down in my basement. Has anyone done this?

I have an MBR1200B, UML290, and a yagi on the roof. I was exploring moving to a grid with another vendor and he suggested I add a Wilson 4g LTE amp and a flat panel which would theoretically boost phone and data. told me to talk to Wilson if I needed help. I couldn't get the panel to work at 1st so I plugged the 290 directly into the amp. Of course my RSSI is now whatever I set the gain to on the amp (as low as -30) but I still have a fairly low (noisy) SINR because I'm at least 6 miles from the tower. My speeds were a bit better. I called Wilson and they sent me a 10' N cable free to get the panel further away from the amp and modem. The Wilson tech did mention he was surprised I hadn't fried my 290 hanging it off the high powered amp. Shocked The panel worked great for my phone but introduced a lot of latency which really made my data/4G speeds tank (especially since I work at home via VPN). So I stay with the 290 to amp to yagi.

I was considering if a VZW (Samsung) "network extender" in the 1200B (I have an independent post asking for opinions but no takers to date) would work (before I buy one). Is there a reason you guys haven't considered the same?

@jamnw: The 811201 direct connect amplifier is JUST that, it cannot be used as a wireless repeater. Direct connect amps have a much lower gain than wireless amplifiers, which makes up for the additional signal loss created when adding a second cable and repeater antenna
