Looking for help. I have 2 313u cards from att. I updated the firmware on one of the cards and now it will not connect using my mbr95 (4.3 firmware). Just says carrier status= DOWN. It will connect using att connection manager and I have verified that the mbr95 is still using the correct APN for this modem. The card I didn't update works fine. any ideas?

I have also tried this on a ctr35 that I have with the same result. USB modem appears to have 2 solid blue lights (which usually means connected) but the carrier status remains down.

I also swapped SIM cards from the one with old firmware to the one with new firmware. the modem with new firmware still won't connect.

Firmware compatibility issue???

Even though one of the modems works with the APN it is using, you may still want to try the alternative with the one that is NOT working. Unless you are paying for a static IP from AT&T, you can either use the standard 'broadband' OR 'isp.cingular'

If neither of those resolve your issue, I would suggest doing a factory reset by holding down the physical reset button on the back of the router for about 15-20sec. It may also be worth re-installing the 4.3 firmware manually. I would also see if you may be able to revert to the older firmware on your modem.

I tried all of the above and still no go. The modem looks like it is connected (2 solid blue lights) but mbr95 still indicated carrier status=down.

Attempt to reload firmware v3.0

http://www.cradlepoint.com/sites/default/files/firmware/MBR95/u_mbr95_2013_05_13.bin

and then do a factory reset on the unit by inserting a paperclip into the reset button for 45 seconds and let go.

See if it helps the issue with your AT&T Momentum Cards
