I'm having a minor issue with a Verizon UML290 plugged into an MBR1200B. If I go into Status->Internet Connections on the MBR1200B and look at the detailed stats for the UML290, the Service Display always reads "1xRTT." But speed tests make it obvious that it's connected to RevA. Forcing it into 3G only mode in modem settings does make the Service Display change to "EVDO", but I really don't want to leave it in that mode with LTE coming eventually and all. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know of a fix? Both the UML290 and the MBR1200B are running the latest firmware (L0290VWBB12F.248 and 4.2.0). It's a minor issue since it doesn't seem to be affecting any functionality or performance, but it is annoying.

What do the logs indicate? We get that information directly from the modem so it would be interesting to see what it indicates when plugged directly into a PC. |

| The MBR1200B's logs say "Connection type: 1XRTT." When I plug the UML290 into my Mac and fire up VZAccess Manager, It shows RevAe like it should. |

Our modem engineers confirmed this morning that this is definitely a bug and will be fixed in the next release.
Sorry if it is causing an inconvenience. |

I can confirm I noticed this same bug on the MBR95 with the Pantech UML290. The service display would read 1xRTT whenever I was connected to 3G if the UML290 was set to Auto mode but if I forced it to 3G only it would read EVDO.
I thought it might be due to the fact that even in VZAccess Manager the UML290 would randomly search for a 4G LTE signal causing the connection to fall back on 1xRTT for a second and then immediately pick back up 3G. It was doing this even though I had the modem connected to a parabolic grid antenna getting 5 bars signal strength for 3G and -55 RSSI. I spoke with Verizon and they had me lock the modem to 3G only. |

| Any estimate when the next firmware update will be released with this fix? |

Sorry for the tardiness. I thought we would have a release for you on Monday, but then QA said they wanted another week. |

It seems to be working properly for me now with 4.2.1. Thanks! |
