I dont know if anyone is having same issue as i am in regarding my connection manager, I live in a rural area where 1xRTT is all i get, and after being online for all day today downloading I find all of my memory being hogged up by:
OSCM3.EXE Memory Usage 1,370,792K
and has been steadily climbing for the past two hours from 1gig, has anyone experienced similar problems? |

That's a pretty serious problem if taking 1.3GB of memory. Mine shows a consistent 10-11MB of memory usage. Might try reinstalling software and reboot. I'd definitely call support on that one if still a problem.
For those in WinXP, go to Task Manager (Ctrl-Shift-Esc), then to Processes tab, then look for OSCM3.exe process. Anyone else have growing memory for that process? |

| Mine seems to go between 9,136K and 9,188K right now and has been on for over two hours. |

Finally a post where someone is seeing the same problem I am!
When I called tech support they said that they hadn't seen this problem before and suggested that I reinstall. It didn't help
I'm running the program on a tablet pc (TC1000) and travel between my work, EV-DO area, and my home, 1xRTT area. If I leave the connection manager running and connected overnight the next morning I'll find that OSCM3.exe is consuming 100-300 megs of memory.
My guess after seeing your post is that it has to do with going into 1xRTT area.
Oh, and I can consistantly repro this problem. |

Might want to try loading the original drivers that came on the CD. If you don't have the leaking problem, there is likely something up with the latest upgrade. If you do have the leak with old version, there may be a conflict with your PC configuration.
Either way, send the link to this thread to Sprint support and let them know more than one person has shown a memory leak.

I was running the software from the original CD when I called tech support. I tried upgrading to the latest version and I'm seeing the same problem.
I'll post to that Sprint link, thanks. |
