Axesstel EV-DO Fixed Wireless Broadband Modem

I was just cruising for EVDO information today and found this!

Is this a CPE device or is it the Provider end?

If it is CPE, this is what I want. No cards to futz with. The same as a Cable or DSL modem. Plug and play.

Can you look into these things? Will VZW (doubtful) or Sprint support? Seems like a more graceful solution than the KR1. Though I wonder if it will be Rev. A upgradeable.

I have contacted them. Since the chipset is built-in, it will not be easily upgradeable to EVDO Rev A. I asked them if the device was approved on Verizon or Sprint's EVDO network and pricing (and asked for an eval unit).

I will report back any info that I get.
