Guys I have a connection of BSNL 1XEVDO (3.1 mbps) due to poor signal on the ground level, I bought a USB extension cable 5 mtrs long but when connected thru, "USB not recognzed" message pops up, however the same when connected to other devices like USB storage even an optical mouse, it works! I had tried lots of method but it seems the problem persist on. I don't know what I should use to extend my EVDO cable, or else I should use any other network device. HELP... HELP..

The cable is to long unless it's a powered USB cable. If it is not powered the effective range of a USB extension on a wireless modem is about 10'
