ExpressCard/34 EVDO Notification List

So, you have a new laptop without a PCMCIA slot and it has an ExpressCard/34 slot and you CANNOT upgrade/purchase this laptop UNTIL an EVDO solution is available. This announcement only list will notify you as soon as a ExpressCard/34 is available for you MacBook Pro, Dell, Thinkpad or other laptop with an ExpressCard/34.

This is an ANNOUNCEMENT only list, so by watching this thread, the next email you receive will notify you that a native ExpressCard EVDO solution is available.

Today, August 3, 2006, Verizon is officially announcing the Novatel
V640. The Novatel V640 will start shipping on August 10, 2006.

Additional information posted on EVDOinfo.com over the coming days on this new ExpressCard.

Our pricing is as follows.

A V640 with 2 year contract is $99.99. This is an $80 savings from Verizon standard pricing.

A V640 with a 1 year contract is $179.99. This is a $70 savings from Verizon standard pricing.

As an incentive to order your V640 from Booster dash Antenna.com you can add a V640 booster antenna to your order for $34.99 A 50% off savings from the original retail price. This is valid on all orders placed on or before August 10, 2006.

Verizon has not yet released the pricing for the V640 without service. For those wanting to upgrade an existing contract and not buy new service, pricing is not yet available and orders are not being taken.
