| No problems with both set-ups, though I don't use Verizon's connection software, I just set-up a dial-up connection in Windows. |

Okay, I've got 2 of the IBM Transnote mentioned above. On one, I installed Mobile Connection Manager and it works fine. On the 2nd, the system connects, sends and receives data, and then hangs until I force a shut-down. Latter system works fine with Windows DUN.
The two are exactly the same hardware-wise, with the chief difference being that the first machine has an old Windows 2000 install, while the 2nd has a fresh install with all the latest drivers and updates. |
